How does the Airway Rescue Device work?

The device works with a one-way valve. When you push the plunger down, all air escapes through the valve. No air can be pushed into the lungs, so the object cannot be pushed deeper. When you pull the plunger back, a vacuum is created that pulls the blockage out of the airway.

Ready to use in three steps

  1. Place the mask over the nose and mouth of the person
  2. Push the plunger down, the air escapes through the valve
  3. Pull the plunger back, the suction removes the blockage

If it does not work on the first attempt, repeat steps 2 and 3 without removing the mask.

  1. Place the correct mask – choose the mask that fits the victim (adult or child) and place it firmly over the nose and mouth
  2. Push the plunger down – air escapes through the one-way valve, no air is pushed into the lungs
  3. Pull the plunger back forcefully – the vacuum pulls the blockage out of the airway
  4. Check the airway – carefully remove visible objects with your fingers
  5. Repeat if necessary – repeat steps 2 and 3 without removing the mask until the airway is clear

After use

This is a single-use product. Replace the device after every use, even if the blockage has been successfully removed.
