  • Step 2 — Customizing the mouthpiece
  1. Place the anti-snoring mouthpiece in hot water for 20–30 seconds so the material softens.
  2. Take it out (using a spoon if needed) and let it cool briefly so it is not too hot.
  3. Place the mouthpiece in your mouth and bite down gently.
  4. Press with your fingers along your teeth to ensure the material fits well.
  5. Remove the mouthpiece and place it in cold water for 10–15 seconds to set the shape.
  • Step 3 — Insertion before sleep- Put the mouthpiece in just before you go to sleep.- Your lower jaw is held slightly forward. This takes some getting used to, but it is normal.
  • Step 4 — Getting used to it - Wear the mouthpiece for shorter periods during the first few nights if that feels better.- Usually, your mouth and jaw will be accustomed after a few nights.
  • Step 5 — Cleaning - Rinse with lukewarm water after every night.- Clean with mild soap or a soft brush.- Let it dry thoroughly and store it in a clean case.

HOW TO CUSTOM-FIT THE ANTI-SNORING MOUTHPIECE

In 4 simple steps

1. Submerge in hot water

Bring water to the boil and pour it into a glass or bowl. Place the mouthpiece in the hot water for 30–60 seconds until the material becomes soft and flexible. (Preferably use tongs or a spoon to take it out.)

2. Let it cool briefly

Take the mouthpiece out of the water and let it cool for 5–10 seconds so it is not too hot for your mouth but still remains mouldable.

3. Mould to fit in your mouth

Place the mouthpiece in your mouth using the supplied spatula. Make sure it sits neatly over your teeth. Then bite down firmly but comfortably on the mouthpiece for 20–30 seconds so it moulds exactly to your teeth.

4. Let it harden in cold water

Take the mouthpiece out of your mouth and place it directly in a glass of cold water for 1–2 minutes. This hardens it into the right shape. Your mouthpiece is then ready for use.
